Osadhi comes from Oṣadhī, the Sanskrit word for medicinal plants—symbols of healing, purity, and renewal, much like the Morning Star that brings light and clarity. That idea is at the heart of everything we do. Our symbol reflects this philosophy too: it represents balance, harmony, and holistic well-being, guiding us in how we formulate and care. For over 30 years, we've been inspired by Ayurveda to create skincare that feels true to tradition and works for modern life.
Osadhi started with Parbeen Puri’s own search for gentle, effective skincare. Having grown up in an Air Force family and married to an Air Force officer, she travelled across India, experiencing the country’s incredible diversity of herbs, botanicals, and traditional ways of caring for skin. Inspired by these discoveries, she began making small, handmade batches for friends and family—valued for their honesty and real results. Over time, with the help of her husband, Purshotam Singh Puri, Osadhi grew into a family-run brand built on trust and care. Today, the next generation proudly carries on this vision.
